The tumbler that has taken Instagram Influencers by storm… The Stanley Tumbler. Is this $40 water bottle worth the hype??? Let’s see…
If you follow any blogger on the gram or any Utah tik toker lolz then you’ve heard or seen a Stanley cup. A Stanley cup is a 40 oz Adventure Quencher Travel Tumbler. It can hold ice for up to two days, stay cold for 11 hours, and warm for 7 hours.
The selling point for me was that it fits in a cupholder!! A true gamechanger. I always have water on me and I love having a lot of water and as cold as possible. The issue is most water bottles are not compliant with cupholders. There is nothing worse than driving in the car and having to reach to the floor or passenger seat to get your water, or not fit in the cupholder on the treadmill at the gym.
The lid also comes with a straw and the ability to just sip or close the top to prevent it from spilling. I personally have only used the tumbler with the straw and for water.
Did I mention it comes in many many colors + they are always adding more!
The cons of this tumbler… It’s quite heavy. When filled with ice and water it weighs about 3 pounds depending on the amount of ice you put in it. Thankfully it comes with a handle for better grip. But it can put pressure on your wrist while carrying. The other con with this is I’ve had mine for about two or three weeks now and it’s already been knicked a little bit. I don’t recall doing anything crazy to it to cause damage, but some paint chips are missing.
Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I love how cold my water stays, how it fits in my cupholder and how much water it holds. It’s been the only cup I’ve used since I bought it!
