Weekly Updates #6

Long time no talk friends.. my last post was from last week’s Weekly Update
I kinda fell off the wagon last week… I was just not in the mood to post or be happy and I didn’t want to fake it sooo ya… no posts. but I’m excited to get back into posting and catch you up on last week.

Monday I did my usual post work power walk with my friend Bailey where we caught up on all things wedding and transitioning. I got caught in some thorns while we were walking so I called it a night early and showered and went to bed right when I got home. I also started reading Harry Potter again so that’s been so nice and a relaxing way to spend my evenings.

Tuesday was a super long day at work from 6am-8pm. Needless to say I went straight to bed when I got home.

I’ve been getting so many compliments on my skin lately!! I’ve been using this set and I am obsessed <3 font="" nbsp="">3>

Wednesday was the regular work and church, Thursday was boring and Friday was a short work day followed by a fun weekend!

I kicked off the weekend with a mexican lunch date with some gal pals!! After that Jacob picked me up and we went straight to Clemson for our engagement pictures!! I cannot wait to share them (: Pictures got done around 8:45 so we went to have a late dinner at one of my fav places in Clemson… Backstreets! While we were waiting on our food I saw that my MOH was also there so it was such a sweet surprise getting to see her for a little bit! AND my big showed up to say hey for a few minutes as well (: It was soo fun!!

The rest of the weekend was spent spending time with Jacob’s family since we hadn’t been to Greenville in sooo long.

The weekend deff made up for the funky week I had before it and I am so ready for this week too!! There’s some fun plans happening this weekend (:

How was your week???

Last week actually dragged on forrrreeeevvverrrrrrr. I worked so much I was completely exhausted.

On Monday, I published this blog post. + after work I worked out with my friend Bailey and hit the gym up after our workout. Needless to say, I crashed shortly after a nice shower.

Tuesday was a day let me tell ya. Work kicked my butt but the evening turned around with a date with Jacob at a restaurant near our new apartment.

Wednesday was another long day at work but there was a sweet surprise when the event left an hour early so I got to go outside and run for the first time this spring. I got in a solid 3 miles and topped the night off with chick fil a with my parents.

+ This Wedding Wednesday post went live!

Thursday I flexed my time and went in to work at 1 so I had the morning to sleep until 8am (wooo!!) and got to go to the gym before heading in for the day.

Friday the weather was soooo bad. The thunderstorms and rain.. wow. I just wanted to watch movies all day… but I still had to work… the day got super exciting after this because I went and did my trial hair and makeup run for the wedding!!! I’m obsessed.. It was perfect!! I cannot wait to share more with you all!! After the trial, Jacob and I got pizza and went to church for Good Friday service.

+ Drop It Like It’s Hot (Pink) blog post

Saturday morning, I slept in, drank my tea in bed and read my bible. Jacob and I then went to the gym to get some sort of workout in and got some sushi for a late lunch. By the time we got back to my house we had to hurry and get ready and help my mom clean the house because my grandparents and cousins were coming into town for Easter. We had a yummy lasagna din and played cards against humanity!!

Sunday was a day of rest and celebration. The day started off with church to celebrate the resurrection and a brunch buffet. The rest of the afternoon was full of naps, a 3 mile run and we got started on Wedding Invitations.!!! I’ll share all about the invites after the wedding!
