Day in my life: Asheville

I had never been to Asheville, North Carolina until this summer. It’s less than a two hour drive away from Clemson, so it’s the perfect adventure day. So one Saturday morning, my roommate and I picked up and drove to Asheville for the day. We did not go with a plan, which ended up being super nice and relaxing.

When we first got there we were starving so we found a Mediterranean brunch restaurant right downtown. It’s kind of out of both our comfort zones, but we ended up loving it.
The special was Banana Chocolate Chip pancakes so obvi that’s what we both got. Super yummy!

We then walked around downtown for a few hours. Going in and out of shops. They were all very unique and it was really cool.

We went to Double D’s for an afternoon pick me up. It’s a double decker bus/coffee shop. It was super cool!

We then headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway to drive and observe all the beautiful scenery. We were a little upset because it began to rain, which ruined some of the views, but it was still so pretty. We deff want to go back!

Where should we adventure to next??

XOXO,
E.

  1. I can't believe you've never been to Asheville! Next time go to Biscuit Head! It is so yummy. Max Patch is a great hike but it'll take you a little while to get there from Downtown so plan accordingly. I've got a few posts on my blog about our trips if you want to check them out! We try to go a few times a year.
