My Skin Care Routine

I have been trying to get a lot better at taking care of my skin. I realize I’m 23.. aging is real.. the sun is realer (lol) + I’m sick of always wearing makeup. I want my skin to breathe… take away all the acne scarring I have from picking my middle school acne face like a two year old picks his nose. Also, I want my makeup to sit better on my skin and last longer.

So I went on the hunt for a GREAT skincare routine.
I’ve learned that investing in skincare is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It’s sooo worth it. I have seen such a transformation in my skin the past few months since I have started this process.

Also, everyone’s skin is different and needs different things and this is the process that works for me. I have always used products targeted towards oily skin bc I thought my skin was oily, but once I started using regular products for the skin my face wasn’t as oily anymore. I’ve never been the one to be all about natural products and cautious of the products I put in my body. I know that sounds bad, but it has never been on my radar. When I do see products that are more natural, it has started peaking my interest. This skincare has been some of the first natural products I have incorporated into my life. I’m a major supporter of this line.

+ to preface… these products are expensive, I know. I’m on a budget.
However, they work.. like really work + they last soooo long bc you don’t need much product.
It’s cheaper than botox later on.

I start by taking my makeup off with Garnier Micellar Water. I love this stuff, it is so refreshing!

Next, I cleanse my skin with the jelly cleanser.

Dab my face with a dry wash cloth. I don’t rub.. just dab.

Morning:
I use the Vitamin C Day Serum
I press this product into my skin as well… not rubbing it in.

Night:
I use the Glycolic Night Serum two to three nights a week.
Again, I press into skin and not rub my face with it.

After the serums, I press with my ring finger the eye cream under and around my eyes.

I top my routine off with the polypeptide cream to moisturize my skin.

I wish I would have taken before and after pictures of my skin before using this product, but I had no idea how much it was going to transform my skin.

Since it is such a pricey product line… I recommend starting off with this kit. That way you can try the products before hand. That is what I did.

Lmk what questions y’all have about these products and I will do my best to answer them!!!

E.

Weekly Update #8

Last week’s blog posts:

#WeddingWednesday Engagement Pictures

What I Read:

What I Bought/Got:

Jacob got me the sweetest necklace for our anniversary with my new initials! Everyone needs this.. I’ve worn it everyday since.

Highs:
-Wednesday was Jacob & I’s one year anni! We celebrated with Moe’s!
-Thursday after work I went to Clemson for less than 24 hours to hang with my friends and see my little graduate! it was such a sweet mini trip and I loved every second of it.
-Sunday Jacob and I picked up a kitchen table for our apartment and I am so stinkin excited about it… it’s the first thing we have bought for OUR apartment so it’s just a tad sentimental.

Lows:
-Sunday we spent the entire day in the car… in the rain… and the traffic driving from ATL to Greenville.. Greenville to Clemson and Clemson to ATL then ATL back to my parents house. phew… It was not a fun time.
