Ok before I kick it in high Christmas mode I though I should talk Halloween.
My srat fam + I dressed up as KISS for our philanthropy event on Sunday + I am obsessed with how perfect it turned out. 
If you’ve been around my blog for a while then you would know I am actually obsessed with these galz. 
So we knew we had to have a ROCKIN costume together. 
I think we pulled it off. 
We just found random t shirts, mine is from amazon, and we rocked it out. 

Also, We won a trophy for BEST FAM.
Bless it. 

Ugh I just love these galz. They’re the ones that make me laugh harder than anyone else. 
They put up with my hot mess self and love me through it.

The Dress

First off, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I’ve never been one to get into Halloween, but this year I’m feeling it. And by that I mean I am dressing up as a pumpkin tonight for Trick or Treating + I am pumped about it!!! I’ve also been listening to Christmas music for a solid week now, but that’s besides the point. 

Here it is. My Best Dress Ever. I’m so obsessed. I first saw it on LC Steele‘s blog and I immediately fell in love and just knew I had to have it. I just had no idea where I was going to wear it.

I wore this beautiful creation to my Clemson ring ceremony last week where I got my Clemmy ring (eeeek!!!!) and I want to wear it everyday of my life. 

I want to style it with OTK boots, cardigans, maybe some skinnies…this list goes on but basically I’m saying you have to buy this dress.
The dress also comes in two other colors!!

idk what koolaid some of these ppl are drinking but apparently everyone’s drinking it.

if you’re single (like myself), it gets quite overwhelming (sometimes nauseating tbh) just sitting back and j chillin watching everyone you know grow up so fast. 

Ok. and don’t get me wrong, I want all of those things too in life. I want to me a wife and I know I’m meant to be a mom. BUT NOT NOW + I am supes gucci with that.

I feel like ppl just get really down and feel crappy about themselves about their singleness and of course it bothers me sometimes, but I’m not totally mad about it. 
Let’s look at the bright side of things here ppl. 

I am 21 years old and I have my whole life ahead of me and I know God’s timing for my life is not the same for everyone’s.
We need to accept that and enjoy the life God has given us.

Here are my tips on being single 101 bc I like to think I’m pretty good at it.

1. HOMEGIRL, DO YOU.
Just do you. live your life. focus on yourself. better yourself. pick a dream, chase it. treat yo self. 

2. Hang with ur #1.
Jesus is ur homeboy. He always will be. Get to know Him. Rest in His goodness. Pursue Him, not him. 

3. Delete the socials.
whenever u get down in the dumps, and feel like you’re the only single one in the world filled of cute insta couples, delete your social media. bc when you feel like that it’s just bc that is what the enemy wants you to think and that IS A LIE.

4. Pals.
Make friends. Keep in touch with the old. Pursue your friendships. They’re always going to be there (at least they should be lolz). Make the most out of your friendships, they’re probz going through the same stuff that you are. 

Hopefully this helped some y’all who are riding that struggle train (choo choo).
