New Home Items I’m Loving

I’ve been very into home decor lately. I’ve been watching the Studio McGee show, home decor youtubers + more. I just want to make us a cozy and comfortable home. I’ve picked up a few items recently that I just adore + they are very affordable. I think they add such a pretty touch to the home.

  1. Door Mat
    • I loooove this door mat. The messaging is perfect and exactly what I want people to know when coming to our home. I don’t care who you are, where you come from, what baggage you bring… you are welcome here. Come as you are. Whether that’s happy, broken, depressed, angry. It’s beautiful messaging and a steal for only $13.
  2. Bathroom Trash Can: I love the texture this trash can gives to any space especially a bathroom. It adds so much warmth. It reflects some wicker tones but in a boho and farmhouse way. I’m really into mixing textures because I feel like it makes it so cozy!
  3. Bathroom rug This rug is beautiful! I love the cream color and warmth it adds. The textures are so cozy and that is the overall vibe I am going for in home decor. It’s very soft and comfortable when getting out of the shower.
  4. Island Moonlight Candle This is 1000000% a dupe for the Volcano candle everyone raves about, even me. I love the Volcano scent but the price tag if quite hefty. This candle is the exact same scent for only $10! Talk about a steal. I highly recommend checking this one out. It comes in several shapes, sizes and vases. I’ll never buy a Volcano candle again as long as this candle is still available!

Hello 2021

It’s been a hot minute since we last chatted. My last post went up in 2020 and I have yet to post in 2021. Honestly I just kept putting it off and there’s been so much going on in the world and in life that I didn’t have anything to say. But I want to get back to sharing my life and sharing my fav fashion finds with you all.

Here’s a little run down about what I’ve been up to:

-work

-work

-more work

-reading

-resting

Reads: I’ve been really enjoying reading before bed + would love to chat about each book after I finish one!

I recently finished Girl with No Job: The Crazy Beautiful Life of an Instagram Thirst Monster by Claudia Oshry. If you don’t know Claudia, she is the co-host of my favorite podcast The Morning Toast. They chat all things pop culture and celeb news. Her book was a memoir of her life the past 26 years. It was a quick and funny read. She hit on some deep topics such as body image and cancel culture. I loved her viewpoint and diving deeper into her life. I deff recommend the book as well as The Morning Toast podcast.

Listening: I’ve been nonstop listening to Evermore every time I turn on some music. Honestly, this album is soooo good. It’s up beat but chill fun music. My favorites are Long Story Short, Champagne Problems, and ‘Tis the Damn Season. Such bops. What are your favs on the album?

Wearing: Honestly I’ve been obsessed with my Taylor Swift eras sweatshirt I got for Christmas. (You can watch my What I got for Christmas video here). This sweatshirt is so comfy and sooo cute. I love the eras merch bc I really have been an OG fan. Unfortunately, there are only small drops of the eras merch whenever they do it. Make sure you’re following me here to be notified of the next drop.

I’ve also been obsessed with my Barefoot dreams robe. It’s so cozy and If I’m at home, I’m most definitely wearing it! Jacob makes fun of me for constantly wearing it, but hey I love to be comfy cozy.

Watching: I’ve been so into the beauty gurus on Youtube lately. I’m so into makeup and skincare again. It’s seriously so fun. I reordered my boxycharm subscription. So getting to play with new makeup has been a great time.

It’s good to be back .

Let’s Catch Up

Hello friends! It’s been quite some time since I sat down and chatted with you all about what’s new with me. and that’s bc not much is new lol. I feel like not many exciting things are happening which is bc duh covid. That makes me sad bc i love having things to look forward to and 2020 has made a joke of looking forward to things. Even though this year has been a crazy whirlwind and a year I hope never happens again it has shown me a lot.

I feel like I’m starting to enjoy the smaller moments much more. Especially since those are the only moments happening lol. But just the nightly walks under the fall foliage, the laughs with my family, the cozy christmas lights. I feel so mature lol

But anyways updates… really the only update that comes to mind is I’m doing vlogmas!! In case you don’t know… vlogmas is when you post everyday on Youtube from December 1st-December 25th! So if you’re not subscribed you my channel Plz subscribe so you don’t miss all 25 videos!

Shows: I just caught up on all of Real Housewives of New York + I’m so sad it’s over. Cannot wait for the next season! I also watched Emily in Paris in a day and a half. It was really cute!

Listening: Folklore documentary album is incredible!!!

Eating: cheeses. I have NEVER been a cheese gal but the charcuterie board has stolen my heart. There’s a tapas set of three spanish cheeses from trader joe’s and it’s soooo good!!!

Shopping: I’ve been loving H&M lately. The prices can’t be beat and they have such a variety of styles!

XOXO,

E.
