Life Updates

It’s finals week. YAY.
I’m currently writing this post to procrastinate from studying for my exam I have in the morning. But it’s all good. While I’m stressed out this week, I figured I should look at some less stressful times recently and be thankful.

Thankful > stressful

So this past weekend I got to travel to Orlando, Fl to watch Clemson win the ACC! It was so fun. The game was stressful, shocking I know. But we all had a blast & I’m so thankful I got to take some time and relax with friends. Now Clem is playoff bound!!!! AHHH! I’m so pumped. I love Clemson Football.

My fav SK mixer was last week: Tacky Christmas! It was supes fun!! I love Christmas!! I may have dabbed a bit too much but YOLO

Clemson beat south carolina 56-7!!!!!!!!! I love beating them. It was so fun. Nothing better than night games in the Valley beating the chickens.

Gilmore Girls Revival came out and I’m a bit upset. I won’t spoil anything but I just want Logan and Rory together 4everrrrrr.

After my exam Thursday morning, I am officially on Christmas break!!! YAY! I’m ready for a break from school but not a break from Clem. So my roommates & I have decided to hang around for a few days to avoid life and have some good ole gal pal time!!! Can you say Yay for roommate Christmas?????

But yeah… that’s life lately. Guess I gotta study now.
Catch ya on the flip side.

#Blessed

I’m currently all cuddled up in my bed at home watching some Gilmore Girls, drinking some tea, hanging out with my pup and soaking in some much needed relaxing time after a busy semester. Today, all I want to do is relax and catch up on life. I went for a run this morning and treated myself to some starbz #basic. It’s thanksgiving break and I feel like reflecting on life the past few months and count my blessings.

This semester was challenging and exciting. New friendships were made, I was stretched and pushed further in all aspects of life. I’ve learned more about myself, others and my future. I am extremely thankful for all I have in my life right now. I’m thankful to be apart of the Clemson family. I’m thankful for my friends (especially my roomies). I’m thankful for my family. I’m thankful for my church. And as much as sometimes I don’t like it.. I’m thankful for my classes, professors and the challenges I’ve faced throughout the past few months.

Here are some pictures of my semester so far:

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Count your blessings.

XOXO,
E.

Weekend Woohoo

1. The secret is out!!! I got two littles!!!! I’m 100% obsessed with them. They’re so cute and just little rays of sunshine. I’m so happy that they are mine!! Our reveal theme was Dr. Seuss. So of course I had to get Thing 1, 2 & 3 shirts!!! Our bows were blue tule and glitter! I love glitter lol. I’m still finding it all in my room too! Oh well…
Welcome to the dynasty fam M & M!

2. Homecoming!!!!
Friday my roommates & I decided to go look at all the floats on Bowman Field. In case you don’t know, each year for homecoming student organizations, particularly greek life, participate in building extravagant floats on Bowman field. It’s a big ordeal and everyone takes it super seriously. There is exactly five days to build and pomp the float, so it basically takes an army… or just really stressed out, overwhelmed college students. Students stay out building the floats all week long, 24/7. & I’m not kidding when I say 24/7. There is always people out there working on the float. This year Sigma Kappa paired with AGR & ADPi and we came in 2nd place in the competition!

3. Game!!!
Well, Clemson football is 7-0!!!!
But it sure didn’t come without it’s heart attacks, tears and lots of prayers. Saturday we beat NC State in overtime. It was one of the most stressful games of my life. But the feeling of winning was too good. It was like a weight off our shoulders (bc of course it feels like everyone in the stands was actually playing the game).  Now we have a well deserved bye-week and time to rest before a road game.
