Weekly Update #4

I skipped last week’s update so today you get a two for one (:
Last week was my work’s “spring break” week. However, I am a 12 month employee so I was required to work 3 days. I took one of those as a personal day and slept until 11:30 am and another day I left super early to get to a funeral.

The rest of last week was spent in Clemson with my best gals. We ate a lot, shopped, took blog pics, and shopped the Ulta sale. Saturday was super fun because it was the spring game and my family had a big tailgate with friends and shrimp and grits AND bojangles. Yummmmooo. I am so excited for football season!

These are the products I snagged from the Ulta Sale:

This week has been your typical week for me… work.. work out.. see Jacob on Tuesday and binge watch This Is Us.. church.. more work…
But the exciting part is my two gal cousins came Thursday-Saturday for a mini gals weekend. I love doing this from time to time with them and this was the last time before I’m married!

Saturday was such a fun day. I went to a blogger shopping event in downtown Woodstock. I made so many new friends and got to meet so many new brands. It was so fun to meet other people who love what I love and don’t think I’m crazy for blogging lol. Can’t wait for more adventures with them!!

Weekly Updates #3

Monday was a pretty chill day at work, nothing exciting happened. I published THIS blog post. When I got off I headed home to enjoy a snack and relax a little bit before heading to the gym. I had such a good workout. It was challenging and I felt so good afterwards. Following the gym I cleaned out some of my stuff from high school and treated myself to a chick fil a dinner bc I had a coupon for a sandwich. I ended the night by reading Romans 8, showering, washing my makeup brushes and started some laundry. It was a super solid and productive Monday that I think set me on the right track for the week.

Tuesday was another chill day at work followed by a blog work date with my friend Natalie. It was so motivating and awesome to bounce ideas off of each other. Afterwards, I headed to Jacob’s in Atlanta. We made this yummy chicken and vegetables for dinner and watched How I Met Your Mother. After I cleaned the dishes I headed back home.

Wednesday I posted my third #WeddingWednesday post. & you all seemed to love it! I went straight to church after work and after church went home and crashed.

Thursday was a long day at work topped off with a good workout at he gym and Mexican for dinner. I walked around target afterwards and picked up a few things I showed in my insta story haul.

Friday after work I got to spend time with Jacob picking out the suits for the wedding and we topped the night off with pizza and ice cream.

The weekend was busy moving my dad out of his house and church on Sunday. It was a good week but I think this week will be much better. I’m knee deep in Real Housewives and trying out some new to me products from the Ulta sale!

How was your week??

XOXO,
E.

What I’ve Been Reading

When I graduated college I told myself I was going to read much more. I do enjoy reading but I honestly have not made the time for it throughout the transition these past few months have been. However, I did knock out a few books in the past few months.

It’s Not Supposed to be This Way

I love Lysa Terkeurst. She’s such a great write and speaker and anyone can relate to what she’s saying. She’s raw and authentic and that definitely shows in this book.

Everybody Always
Such a good read!! Everyone needs to check this one out. We are so selfish and spend so much time living for ourselves that we forget we’re not the point behind everything. God is and serving His people.

The Mingling of Souls
Such a good breakdown of biblical dating and marriage. I definitely recommend to anyone dating or married.

Biblical Feminity
This one is all about how God designed women and the natural gifts He gave us, how they can be used for good and bad. It was so cool to see how all the desires and strengths I have all come from Him and He gave me them for a reason!!

What have you been reading lately??

XOXO,
E.
