Styling a Blazer

I’m a huge fan of classic style. I love pieces that can be worn several different ways for years to come. I was on the hunt for a good blazer. I didn’t want just a plain color bc I needed some pop in my wardrobe. I’m the queen of only wearing solids. But I still wanted the blazer to be versatile and nothing crazy. I love this one from H&M. It’s a grey blazer with plaid black, with some lighter greys. The blazer is a more straight/oversized fit, which I prefer. I think it is more relaxed and more flattering on my body type.

Here I styled with spanx leather leggings and my favorite tunic blouse and black heeled booties. It’s a super comfy and classic look. I’ve also styled this blazer with pixi pants for a work meeting which was super cute. I want to style it with a camisole and denim for a fun date night look, so stay tuned for that look soon!

Let’s catch up a little bit on where my blog has been….

The blog was originally Life of Me, Queen B born April 2016 in my dorm room. I love reading blogs and wanted an outlet to share what I was going through while also showing my favorite clothing and beauty items. My senior year of college Life of Me, Queen B was laid to rest and Elizabeth J Blogs rose from the ashes lol I just wanted a name more mature and honestly that was the end of my creativity.

About 6 months post grad I picked up the blog again and started creating content I loved and using it as a stress relief from adulting. The past year and a half have been incredible. I’ve fallen so in love with blogging, Instagram, connecting with you and now I’m obsessed with my new youtube channel.

I pray this website and platform continues to grow. I pray you see my heart in everything I do. I want you to be confident, enjoy life and feel loved when leaving my platforms. I will continue to share obtainable and affordable style for the gal in her twenties living on that budget life while sprinkling a little bit of treat yo self here and there.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here. I hope you stick around.

XOXO,

E,
