June 5th – June 12th

1. Tuesday, I got to to spend the evening on the lake with some friends. It was a lot of fun. We got dinner and got to ride around on the boat watching the sunset.

 


2. Did you guys see the Bachelorette this week???
OMG Chad, can’t even with him.
My favz are Jordan, duh, Chase, Derrick, James Taylor and of course Luke.
I’m pretty upset there isn’t a show this week, guess we just have more to look forward to next week!!

3. Saturday morning I woke up early enough to get Chick Fil A breakfast #praise

4. I got to road trip, kinda, with my best friend and it was just really nice to spend some time with her Saturday.

5. This week was full of lots of rest aka sleep. I didn’t do a whole lot this week and sometimes you just need those weeks. 

I’m ready for this week! Let’s make it great!!

Freedom.

Perfect.

It’s what everyone wants to be. We strive for perfectionism in how we dress, our jobs, in school, etc.
I want to be perfect.
Who doesn’t?
But I’m not, actually I am so far from perfect.

I will never be perfect.
& that’s okay.

I try to be perfect, especially when it comes to school.
I’ve always pushed myself because I want to succeed. 
I want to be my very best.
But there is a difference in being your best & faking perfection.
I want everyone to think I have everything together.
I don’t.
No one does.

Over Spring Break this year, I attended The Grove at Passion City Church in Atlanta. They talked about what were we holding onto that is keeping us from living in complete freedom.

For me, it’s the feeling I have to be perfect.

There is Freedom in Christ.
So I don’t have to be perfect.
because Jesus is.

“For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” Galations 5:13

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
 2 Corinthians 3:17

What’s stopping you from living in freedom?

Life Updates: May 22nd- June 5th

1. My best friend came home from school in California!!!! I am so happy that she’s back. We made a bucket list of all the exciting things we want to do this summer! We are going to have the #BestSummerEver


2. Disclaimer: I am not artistic what so ever. Buuuuut..I started crafting for my future little! YAY!!!! I’m so excited to meet her (:

3. I went to my small group leader’s wedding!! I am beyond thankful for her leadership over the past two years and I am so happy for her! The wedding was absolutely beautiful, the vows, her dress, the yummy food, ah I loved it! + I got to see some great friends from my small group and spend the weekend in Clem!


4. The Clemson baseball team won the ACC Championship & for once I started paying attention baseball. Go Tigers!

5. On June 5th I celebrated (celebrated used lightly) four years of working at my first job. Yes I go away for school, but I always come back to work at the same place. I’ve been a hostess, a food expo and a waitress. I just keep coming back and I guess I kind of like it there. Happy 4 years CBreeze.
