SWIM SWIM SWIM

With my family beach trip quickly approaching I saw it fit to share my fav swim suits with you all. Now, I’m honestly not this biggest swimsuit fan and I don’t obsess over them like some people do. I just pick up a few cheap ones to get through the summer and rarely take the plunge investing in some good ones.

Over the past two years I have fallen in love with one pieces.
I know they’re totes on trend rn but literally they’re perfect.
They are so practical, comfy and look way better on than any other type of bathing suit.

Aerie is my fav place to shop for swimsuits. They’re cute, comfy, fit well and relatively inexpensive and are always on sale. check them out.

Here are also some super cute swimmies to check out. I literally love them all and want to add them all to cart and check out….. but unfortunately I’m in college sooooooo….

Let me know which are your favs and where you like to get your swimsuits!!!

A letter to incoming college freshman + 4 Tips For College

Hey, Hi.
I’m Elizabeth and this is my letter to you about the most exciting and difficult time up to date.

College is such an exciting time. I thought high school was great, then I went to college and I seriously never, ever, ever want to leave. It’s going to be the best four years (maybe more, hey you’re lucky if you get some extra semesters #football). There are hundreds of things to get involved in, so many activities, and lots of free food. Bc any college student knows, if it’s free, you’ll be there.
It’s sad but true.

Here are some tips I have for new college freshies and anyone who wants to get some extra help when walking through college.

1. Get involved.

Seriously, don’t just sit in your room all day. Don’t waste all your time studying (wow did i just say that???). But seriously, my freshman year revolved around getting the perfect gpa and getting enough sleep. Can u say lame? bc i 100% was super lame. Find some clubs, greek life, a church and get plugged in! It’ll change the whole game for you.

College is a wonderful time of freedom. You get to do you.
Don’t get me wrong studying is super important, but don’t sit in your dorm or apartment all day and study. Yes, sometimes that is super necessary but not really lol. Go do your homework in a coffee shop with some pals or hit up the lib. I promise you will see every person you’ve ever met at school in the lib between the hours 10pm and 2am. never fails.

I joined greek life at Clemson, Sigma Kappa (GO SK!!!) and I love it. It’s given me so many great opportunities that I wouldn’t have had otherwise and I know being apart of Sigma Kappa has made me a better person than I was before I joined. It has challenged me and stretched me. I’ve gained lifelong friends and have been given leadership positions that have kicked my butt but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. 10/10 recommend greek life.

I also am super involved in my church. I love my church. I went my first Sunday at college and have been hooked ever since. Go. you won’t regret it.
2. Planner.
College can get super shambly. You’re going to be overwhelmed and stressed but in the best way possible. I could not survive without my planner. It’s seriously a life raft.
hold on tight and don’t let go.

3. Stretch.

Ok, not like the after you work out kind of stretch, but you should probz do that too. (;

Stretch yourself. do something new and that you wouldn’t have in high school. I stretched and joined greek life. It was so out of my comfort zone but I was so adamant about it and it seriously is one of the best things I have ever done.

4. Don’t sleep your life away.

It’s SO easy to make your schedule so that you don’t have to wake up until 10am or later and sleep your life away. Don’t do it. Don’t take 8 ams either. All of my classes start by 9 or 10 and I wake up between 6 and 7 depending on the day. It’s so important to get into a routine and be productive with your mornings. Study in the morning means din with your pals at night.

Everyone says college is the best four years of your life, and so far I believe that. I’m not saying life is going to suck after college but idk what life is going to be like after college. So enjoy it. Take risks. Try something new. bc at what other point in your life is it socially acceptable to eat Sonic mozz sticks at 11pm weekly, drink obscene amounts of caffeine just to survive, wait in line for 45 minutes for a $1 slice of pizza, drive to Greenville to go shopping the week before finals just bc, jump in a fountain celebrating the start of senior year, wear running shorts everyday of your life, and ride up and down roller coaster road multiple times on a Friday nigh bc well, y not???

College is great and it only happens once.

XOXO,
E.
